Hope & Fear                    

It is said that every cloud has a silver lining, in this case gold. It is also said that it is calmest before the storm. Clouds, airborne visible water, are a herald of joy and a harbinger of gloom and disaster. Espousing both hope and fear, clouds tumultuously mix these two emotions as they approach on the horizon. The one who can balance hope and fear, will always see that silver lining in the midst of any calamity.   Y.I.

 

I wanted to share the work of my friend, Youssef Ismail. Youssef is a landscape photographer whose caring, insightful approach to life is reflected in his art.  His photographs have an emotive quality and softness that can only come from the soul.

Asalaam ale kum,

You need to have a better "meta content" in your web code/html to make it appear on search engines. Your website does not have any description such as "hand made or custom hand design etc" for the search engines to match it and find your website. Where as Etsy has such descriptive words in their "meta description" on their website.

BTW, I have great interest in stitching and hand embroidery. I have worked on hand embroidery from a very young age - maybe when I was 10 yrs or so. Started with simple handkerchiefs ,pillow covers, table cloths (my grand mother would send some pillow covers etc during summer vacation and buy it from me when I finished it - that was a real motivation to finish up the project)..... later on I developed such great interest that I started designing and embroidery on my clothes ......some for my friends and cousins...

With college and career, this interest got laid back and I entered into IT - I enjoy my IT career too, but right now at home with my kids. I still do a little hand embroidery whenever I get time (just cannot see any plain pillow covers)(grin)
